Our Team
Holly Pfeiffer : Consulting Actuary, ASA, FCA, MAAA
Holly Pfeiffer has over 23 years of experience managing the healthcare risk of health plans, providers and employers. Her experience includes premium rate-setting, benefit modeling, product development, financial budget development, trend analysis, IBNP analysis, financial and utilization reporting and provider reimbursement analysis.
Holly has over 12 years of experience working with Medicare Advantage and Prescription drug organizations in support of bid development and other actuarial services that support managing the risk of these plans.
Holly’s Medicaid experience includes working with Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) to develop global budgets and evaluate capitation rates and non-capitated reimbursement methodologies such as case rates and risk sharing arrangements. She works closely with Medicaid organizations to evaluate expenses and funding related to physical health, behavioral health, oral health services and community investments. Holly’s Medicaid experience also includes participating in and chairing state actuarial committees including a Medicare/Medicaid Alignment Workgroup and Rates & Actuarial Workgroup.
In Holly’s spare time, she enjoys traveling, mountain biking, cyclocross racing, skiing and spending time with her husband and two kids.
David Tranby : Senior Analyst
David Tranby is the Senior Data Analyst with over 15 years of experience in the health care industry. David uses his programming and analytical skills with SAS, R, SQL and Excel to manipulate and summarize large claims and encounter data sets in support of Medicare bids, Medicaid and Commercial financial reporting, predictive modeling, trend analysis, revenue/enrollment review, utilization reporting, and IBNR analysis. In addition, David performs risk assessment and risk adjustment analysis utilizing leading edge predictive modeling technologies.
David received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Puget Sound.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending any time he can with his wife and six kids.
