Holly Pfeiffer : Consulting Actuary, ASA, FCA, MAAA
Holly Pfeiffer is the president of HealthCare Analytical Solutions, Inc. and has over 22 years of managing the healthcare risk of health plans, providers and employers. Her experience includes premium rate-setting, benefit modeling, product development, financial budget development, financial projections and proforma analysis, IBNR analysis, financial and utilization reporting, provider reimbursement analysis and predictive modeling. Holly has over 10 years of experience in working with Medicare Advantage plans on all aspects of bid development.

In Holly’s spare time, she enjoys traveling, mountain biking, cyclocross racing, skiing and spending time with her husband and two kids. One of her greatest accomplishments was being the top of the pyramid on a waterski show team.
Rebecca Owen : Consulting Actuary, fSA, FCA, MAAA
Rebecca Owen has worked in numerous aspects of health actuarial practice, with a focus on the role and nature the insured population plays in the cost and utilization of care. Her experience includes extensive data modeling for identifying cost drivers, outliers, and delivery patterns, both in medical services and pharmaceutical benefits. She has worked on evaluating the impact alternate payment methodologies play in understanding risk for payers and providers. She has published and spoken extensively about topics such as the opioid epidemic, the actuarial role in public health and profiling complex, costly patients.
Rebecca is an active volunteer in the actuarial profession as well as the community. She loves being outdoors in all seasons, except when she wants to be on the couch with her dogs reading novels and listening to opera.
David Tranby : Senior Analyst
David Tranby is the Senior Data Analyst with over 15 years of experience in the health care industry. David uses his programming and analytical skills with SAS, R, SQL and Excel to manipulate and summarize large claims and encounter data sets in support of Medicare bids, Medicaid and Commercial financial reporting, predictive modeling, trend analysis, revenue/enrollment review, utilization reporting, and IBNR analysis. In addition, David performs risk assessment and risk adjustment analysis utilizing leading edge predictive modeling technologies.
David received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Puget Sound.
Outside of the office, he is a pastor of a house church, enjoys running, and spending any time he can with his wife and six kids.
